Mox was a kind of social network built around products. The users could organize their favorite items into groups, and then invite other people to exchange ideas, experiences and advice. This project was designed at Jamdeo, and my tasks involved visual design and prototyping.
For the visual design, we had some objectives in mind: make the app feel personal and visually non cluttered. Based on that, we provided a good set of customizations, allowing users to pick curated typographic combinations, colors and badges. We also paid extra attention to negative space in order to keep a clean look.
The prototyping involved creating the main user flow from the home screen to a product detail. We also tested different approaches on how the app would react to scrolling (by minimizing or maximizing specific elements) and transitions.
